Engineer, Nasser Maktoum Al Sheraifi

is the Chairman of the Board of Al Sheraifi Group which owns several businesses in the construction, education, healthcare, hospitality, industry and real estate sectors. Mr. Al Sheraifi is widely recognized in the UAE for his path-breaking and visionary contributions to the United Arab Emirates’ national market. Through his pioneering role as an investor in the services sectors, Mr. Al Sheraifi has generated new employment opportunities and changed lifestyles.

Mr. Al Sheraifi pursued Civil Engineering in his homeland, graduating with honors and later earning a Master’s Degree in the same field from the UK. Immersed in the work field at an early age, he was the Deputy Director of Al-Ain Municipality and a member of the Abu-Dhabi Industrial Council. Mr. Nasser worked timelessly to establish his own business starting with the National Engineering and Consultancy Group (NECG) that was the foundation for investing in additional fruitful projects in different services sectors. His visionary efforts were crowned with success through the establishment of the holding company now known as Al Sheraifi Group.

Mr. Nasser Al Sheraifi has been a firm believer in philanthropic activities. His companies are always sensitive to the needs of the unable through participation in local and international support campaigns arranged by trusted community service entities like the UAE Red Crescent and the General Authority of Islamic Affairs & Endowments. Moreover, Mr. Al Sheraifi, is a life-long advocate of children’s education, thus his distinguished American Curriculum School, the Gulf International Private Academy (GIPA), offers educational scholarships on an annual basis to support this great cause and give back to the community.
